Pre-Season Outlook
Usage volume is the most solid form of fantasy football currency, and few players possess the theoretical workload ceiling that Stevenson does. With a burly build around 230 pounds Stevenson is built to withstand a heavy workload for an entire season, and his plus pass-catching abilities give him the ability to pile up 70 receptions before the season's end, too. Not only that, but Stevenson has also been one of the league's most explosive runners over the last three years, meaning he can amplify his volume potential with the possibility of plus efficiency. Unfortunately, high as Stevenson's ceiling might be, it's not easy to tell where his floor might settle in a New England offense that was profoundly dysfunctional in 2023. If new head coach Jerod Mayo can conduct a successful salvage operation then Stevenson might inherit an offense good enough to give him a real shot in 2024, and at the very least Stevenson will definitely be motivated as he heads into the final year of his rookie contract. Stevenson's 2023 season ended in Week 13 due to a severe high ankle sprain, but he said as of February that he is ready to play again.
